Christ in Me

Galatians 2:20 — “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”

When people look at me, I want them to look to Him. When they see me, I want their eyes to meet His. When they hear my voice, I want them to be convicted by the words of God. When they get to know me, I want them to come to know Him.

Because I am only a platform for His feet. I am a microphone for His voice. I am the torch lit by His flame and the lighthouse through which He guides others to shore. I am the vessel into which His love is poured, only to be poured out again on others. And I can’t believe that He has chosen me — an imperfect, flawed, rebellious creation — to be His instrument. He trusts me enough for me to bear His perfect name to the world; therefore in turn I must rely upon Him to use me in a way that showcases His glory.

Yet one thing is required of me: I must be crucified with Christ so that I no longer live, but He lives in and through me.
