about laurengracie

IMG_5464 - CopyI am Lauren Gracie Calvin, an aspiring writer/speaker/youth minister. I am a 2014 graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, holding a bachelor degree in theology and youth ministry with a minor in biblical Greek.  I am currently working toward my Master of Divinity degree at Princeton Theological Seminary. I consider myself an interdenominational Christian, and my goal is simply to invite others to be part of God’s story of redemption, liberation, and love.

My favorite author is Henri Nouwen, favorite book of the Bible (right now) is Hosea, and favorite Bible verse is Zechariah 4:6.

I love interacting with readers, so please leave comments or get in touch with me! I would love to get to know you and hear your story.

  1. You have a wonderful career and life. Congratulations and continue the great work you do. Religion gives a purpose for life.

  2. Thanks for sharing! As a Lipscomb MA grad, I can vouch for some incredible faculty there, especially Mark Black, John Mark Hicks, Terry Briley (I’ll add Mark Jent–but don’t tell him I said so! His wife, Beth is really the bright spot!) to name just a few!

  3. (And as an 18 year youth ministry veteran let me welcome you to an exciting and wild ride!) Youth ministry is an incredible vocation and calling.
